Why First Edition

The Base Set prints three times: Founders, First Edition, Standard Edition. This is the second printing, on sale now: fewer holos than Founders had, more than Standard Edition will.

Marked on the back

Every First Edition card carries the mark, dead center on the back. Founders cards have none; Standard Edition will carry its own.

Fewer than 25,000 boxes

First Edition prints once. When it sells out, the Standard Edition follows.

More holos than Standard

Two holo heroes in every Mega Box, six in every Battle Box. The pull rate drops when Standard Edition prints.

A shot at a signed card

One pack in a thousand hides a card signed by the founder.

Two ways to play

The same cards play a quick battle or a long campaign. Learn one in five minutes; grow into the other.

Beginner

Origins Battle

The quick game. Learn it in five minutes, play it in fifteen. One Mega Box builds a deck.

Advanced

Ascension Campaign

The deep game. Same cards, longer night, built for the strategy crowd. A Battle Box builds a deck.

What is Tribes of Wondervale?

A story-based, character-driven universe that begins with a collectible trading card game. Players choose tribes that reflect how they face the world and play one of two modes: a deep game of strategy, chance and identity, or a quick game for newcomers, families and kids.

Is this content safe for children?

Tribes of Wondervale was built to balance the kinds of characters and stories modern culture cares about with something parents can feel comfortable letting their kids engage with again and again.

How many different cards are there?

The Base Set has 90 characters and 6 tribe cards: 96 card designs. Heroes also come as holographic cards, and every character gets a hand-numbered Master Holo. The checklist has every card and printing.

How many cards were printed?

The Founders Edition was fewer than 1,250 boxes. First Edition is a limited run of fewer than 25,000 boxes. The Collector Center explains how we think about print runs.

What are the pull rates?

Most packs have 10 cards: 4 Apprentice, 3 Guardian, 1 Hero and 2 Tribe cards. In two of the eight packs in a Mega Box a holo hero takes the place of one Guardian; in a Battle Box it is six of twenty. Holo pull rates drop in Standard Edition.

Can the cards be graded?

Our cards are printed to standard trading card specifications and are fully compatible with PSA grading. Customers may submit cards directly to PSA at their discretion.

How long until my order arrives?

Orders leave Florida within 12–48 hours. Shipping times vary by destination, but a few days is typical.
